(2) Quotation:
After exterminating the most appropriate way for you, we will
send a price quotation on the housings to you. The quoation
might include the following prices:
(2.1) Stencil of Your Personalized Image on the Housings:
If your designs contain images, which have to be located in
a specific position of the housing, the stencil is necessary
before starting the production. The cost of the stencil depends
on how many colors your images contain and the processing
way required to make the stencil for the housings. If your
designs do not contain images, (single colored housings instead)
then you can save the cost of the stencil.
(2.2) Coating Film for Your Abstract Design:
If your design is a pattern or a grain that does not need
to be located in a specific position (for example, walnut
wooden grain or carbon fiber pattern), then we might have
to make a coating film for your housings if we cannot find
similar coating films for your designs.
(2.3) Printing for Your Logo:
If you need your logo printed on the housing, we will need
to let you know how much it costs to print your logo on the
housing. A stencil will be required before starting the work
if your logo cannot be included in the stencil of your original
image.
(2.4) Unit Cost of Such Housings:
Our minimum order quantity of such housings is 5,000 pieces.
While letting you how much it costs to make the stencils or
the films, we will also quote the pricing on the whole set
of housing to help you evaluate if it is worthy to make such
personalized designs of housings.
(3) Lead Time:
How long the lead time is depends on the time we spend on
communications as well as the complexity of the housings you
intend us to make. Generally speaking, it takes 2 weeks for
the stencil to be down and 1 week for the samples to be made
into such patterns. If the housings you need are single-colored,
the whole procedure can be shortened to 1 week. We will let
you know the lead time before the production starts, so that
you can evaluate if you should proceed with such projects.
(4) 2nd Artwork:
An image file in higher resolution will be necessary for us
to start making the stencil. Such images file can be more
than 20MB big, therefore you need to send us a CD-ROM or an
MO disk with the image file in it. We prefer the format of
such files to be in psd (Photoshop) format.
(5) Trial Production:
After receiving the 2nd artwork, we will start producing the
housings for you. We will also keep you informed of the current
schedule of the production, so that you can know when you
will receive the samples to approve.
(6) Sample Approval:
We will send 5 to 10 samples for you to observe the quality.
If you still think we need to improve the quality, we will
keep making and sending the finished samples to you, until
you are satisfied with the quality.
(7) Mass-production:
After receiving your approval (a formal order), we will start
mass-producing the housings according to the sample you have
approved. All the 5,000 pieces of housings will be exactly
the same as the sample.
(8) Packing Way:
If you also need the housings to be packed in a special package
(for example, you also need us to make your company back card),
please also send the artwork to us. You can simply duplicate
the 4-color films and send them to us to save time and cost.
Please note to send them to us as soon as the samples are
approved. We can also design the back cards for you, but you
will need to let us know the style you prefer in order to
save time.
